Why do you do what you do?

I love helping people, I love listening and learning from other people — and in this job, that's my best fit: helping other people see the possibilities for their own business.

Who (or what) inspires you the most?

Susan inspires me. Our personalities and temperaments are opposite and I am inspired by her drive, vision and work ethic. She also makes me laugh and has great taste in music.

What do you like the most about your work?

I like being my own boss — after working most of my life for other business owners (some great, some not-so-great) I was confident that I had the work ethic, the organization skills and preparation to work for myself. There is certainly risk and big challenges that come with owning a business — but we've managed (and faced) those quite well.

What would you do if you weren't doing this work?

If money were no object, I would travel a LOT. I love road trips and exploring new places. I also like spending time doing artsy projects and reading.
