Project Description: 

We were tasked with creating a site to showcase the work of a professional artist and designer. The client had a clear vision and requested a clean, simple site with minimal text, generous white space, and vivid images focused on her artwork (paintings, prints, ceramics, carpets, tapestry). She also wanted a means for clients to purchase prints and original pieces through the website.  

Solutions:

We selected a bold image of the artist as a landing page, with closeup images of the artwork on gallery and store pages. For the commerce section of the site, we organized products by medium and set up variants for originals, prints, sizes, and framing options. To highlight details of individual pieces, we used alternate closeup images and a lightbox feature.
